On 12 Dec 2024, the students of the third year of the Forestry Department had a fruitful experience by visiting the Duhok Dam and Sindore Forest. Under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Jihad Ibrahim Salim and Assist. Prof. Haliz Saleem Mohammed Ali, the importance of forests and the protection of water and soil were demonstrated for the Watershed area.

This trip was a part of the plan to enhance the practical side of the curriculum of the Department of Forestry at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Duhok.
