BSc in Physiology (2003)

Master Degree in Animal Physiology (2008)

PhD in Animal Physiology (2021)

As a Assistant Professor and researcher having PhD degree in Physiology, I can denote my teaching experience and philosophy as below:

1- Understanding Normal Body Function: Students learn the normal mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of all organ systems (e.g., circulatory, nervous, respiratory, endocrine) and how they interact in an integrated manner. A major focus is on the concept of homeostasis, which is the maintenance of a stable internal environment in the body.

2- Physiology is a foundational science for all medical and clinical disciplines. A thorough understanding of normal function is essential for professionals to identify and understand the abnormal functions (pathophysiology) that occur in disease states, which in turn facilitates the development of accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

3- The curriculum involves laboratory work and experiments (e.g., hematology, ECG, spirometry) to provide hands-on experience in studying physiological phenomena. This includes learning how to:

- Conduct experiments and interpret experimental data.

- Distinguish between normal and abnormal data derived from clinical tests.

- Apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios, sometimes using simulations like the Human Patient Simulator.

My research focuses on studying the physiology, histopathology, and culturing stem cells (tissue culture) that shape growth factors, drugs, and alternative medicine. I work across several interconnected area.

Physiology and Alternative Medicine

I explore where hormones, drug, and alternative medicine act (cells, receptors) and how they affect body systems in both laboratory animals and human, allowing for effective treatment design, predicting side effects, adjusting doses, and may restoring healthy function.

Histopathology and Pharmacology

I examine tissues by microscope to understand how drug work, acting as the gold standard in drug development to check efficacy (does it work) and safety (is it toxic) by revealing cellular changes, guiding treatment, identifying drug-induced organ damage (liver, heart, lungs,…..ets), and ensuring quality in drug development (preclinical & clinical). This provides critical information for treatment decisions.

Tissue Culture and Transplantation

My work also includes culturing of the laboratory animals and human tissues in a controlled lab setting for growing stem cells to differentiate into specialized tissues for transplantation.
