Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future
Objectives: The workshop aims to provide a scientific overview of the status of food and dairy products in Duhok province and the Kurdistan region. Explaining the importance of World Food Day is as an annual observance by FAO on October 16 to raise awareness about global hunger and promote action for a food-secure future for all. Additionally, it will provide the attendees with insight into the quantity of food products produced in the area while focusing on the quality of the food products in local plants compared to the imported food products. Also, the use of technologies and their applications for a range of common food and dairy products will be covered .
